The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hematopoye doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dos Anjos loads up on a big right hand but Hematopoye slips the punch.
No joy there for Hematopoye, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dos Anjos lands a jab to the head.
Hematopoye throws a combination that misses

Hematopoye lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Dos Anjos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hematopoye shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dos Anjos's guard.

Dos Anjos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hematopoye can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hematopoye got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dos Anjos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hematopoye has managed to get both his arms back between Dos Anjos's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dos Anjos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hematopoye swivels though and keeps the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hematopoye is on top in guard.

Dos Anjos isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hematopoye stacks Dos Anjos on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hematopoye!

The fighters circle momentarily. Dos Anjos darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

That kick from Dos Anjos tenderised Hematopoye's leg. Hematopoye is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hematopoye gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Dos Anjos gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
