Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charles Weasel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Med Tech!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tech throws a head kick that misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tech darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tech connects with a solid leg kick.
Weasel manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tech on his heels. He'll look to pass Tech's guard now, I'm sure.
Weasel is working Tech over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Weasel scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Weasel is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Weasel's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Weasel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Weasel is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tech has his foot on Weasel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Weasel works his way back into a safe position though.
Weasel passes Tech's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Weasel scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Weasel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Weasel seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Tech is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
