PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Needle Dick (ranked 104 p4p, 518 weight class) and Amaru Kawiwasulu (ranked 15 p4p, 75 weight class). Dick comes to the cage accompanied by Watch where you're going, Needle Dick!. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Amaru Kawiwasulu was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amaru Kawiwasulu!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawiwasulu's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dick connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kawiwasulu scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Amaru Kawiwasulu has been cut.

Kawiwasulu ducks straight into an uppercut from Dick and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Kawiwasulu manages to regain guard straight away.
Dick stays in close to Kawiwasulu's body and controls the position.
Kawiwasulu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kawiwasulu told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

It seemed like Kawiwasulu was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Dick was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Dick misses with an uppercut. Kawiwasulu saw that one coming.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kawiwasulu! But no joy.

This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Kawiwasulu was out before he hit the floor!

After winning the bout, Needle Dick thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
