Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 1288 p4p, 2138 weight class) and Magnus Goddard (ranked 137 p4p, 229 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Dux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Magnus Goddard!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goddard has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Goddard there as he acknowledges the shot.
Goddard has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Goddard tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Nice sprawl there from Dux as Goddard shoots in.
Goddard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dux.

Goddard drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dux looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dux looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dux!
Dux has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Goddard looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dux, as that shot connected.

Dux fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Goddard looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Goddard moves in looking to clinch but Dux pushes him off.
Dux is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Goddard can do to turn this around?
Dux moves into range and connects with a jab.

and Goddard counters with a shoot takedown. Dux fights it but they end up in guard.

Goddard regains half guard there - taking advantage of Dux's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dux is keen to just control but Goddard is a slippery customer.

Goddard is squirming around, avoiding Dux's attempts to control the action.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close second round but I would say that Frank Dux will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dux, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
