The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yashin misses with an uppercut. Jones saw that one coming.
Jones wants to counter with a clinch but Yashin pushes him away.
Jones's coach down at Jed's Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jones's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Yashin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Yashin changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Jones fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jones misses with an uppercut
and Yashin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Yashin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones.
Jones wants to clinch but Yashin slips to the side
letting Yashin counter with a right hand.
Jones throws a hook but Yashin avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones throws a head kick that misses
and Yashin counters with a left to the body.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Yashin pushes him off.

Yashin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Yashin counters with a lovely shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Yashin. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jones swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Yashin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jones.
Jones takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jones wants to clinch
and Yashin counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Jones is rocked!
Yashin cracks Jones with a hook to the temple - Jones is on wobbly legs here! Yashin swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Jones falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Yashin wins by TKO!
