PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Daniel Dimitrov (ranked 3208 p4p, 2148 weight class) and Remy Valentine (ranked 108 p4p, 74 weight class). Dimitrov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Drake - Energy. Valentine comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Man with the Harmonica by Ennio Morricone kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dimitrov scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Valentine to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
Dimitrov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Valentine.
Nice body kick from Dimitrov.
Dimitrov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Valentine circles away quickly and effectively.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Valentine looks to land a right hand but Dimitrov moved out of range.
Dimitrov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dimitrov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A combination from Dimitrov does no damage.
A nice side step and Valentine releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Dimitrov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Valentine dodges the punch combination from Dimitrov.

OH! Valentine has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Dimitrov smells blood and charges in for the finish! Dimitrov unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Valentine sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

In his post fight interview, Daniel Dimitrov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
