Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Goff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randle Smith!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Chris Dean and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith takes the fight into the clinch.
Smith is looking to break free of the clinch but Goff has double underhooks.
Goff tries to pull guard but Smith holds him up against the cage and eventually Goff drops back down to his feet.
Goff jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. Goff gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Goff tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smith paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Goff shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith but Smith pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Goff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith misses with a body kick.

Goff closes the distance and clinches.

Goff decides to pull guard.

Goff has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smith can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Goff can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Smith controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Goff is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goff is looking for a triangle but Smith pushes his legs off easily.

Smith is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Smith works over Goff with some ground and pound from guard.
Smith tries to free his leg and advance position but Goff is retaining full guard.

Goff is looking to cinch up a triangle. Smith throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Goff's body to avoid the submission. Goff has instead reached around Smith's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Goff arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
