Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Johnson (ranked 24337 p4p, 4060 weight class) and Andrei Baltaretu (ranked 607 p4p, 492 weight class). Baltaretu has chosen Chatarra - Jincho as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baltaretu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Baltaretu changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Baltaretu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johnson was well out of range. Poor timing from Baltaretu.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Baltaretu lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Baltaretu is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Johnson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Johnson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Baltaretu scores with a couple of nice shots.
Baltaretu keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Baltaretu working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Baltaretu is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson tries to kick Baltaretu off but Baltaretu keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Baltaretu is nestled in close to Johnson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Johnson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Johnson.

Baltaretu content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Baltaretu is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Johnson is trying to keep Baltaretu in close.
Baltaretu distracts Johnson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Johnson keeping moving, preventing Baltaretu from controlling successfully.
Baltaretu cracks Johnson with a solid left hand.
Johnson has momentary wrist control but Baltaretu slips an elbow through the middle.

It looks like Dwayne Johnson has been cut.
Baltaretu wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
Baltaretu is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Baltaretu's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baltaretu working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Johnson's head.

Jeez, Dwayne Johnson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Baltaretu is working Johnson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dwayne Johnson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Andrei Baltaretu tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
