Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dempsey O�Neill!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, David Choke!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O�Neill scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
O�Neill rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Choke counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
O�Neill avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Choke.
O�Neill is trying to get back to full guard.

Choke looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
O�Neill is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Choke is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Choke is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but O�Neill still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, O�Neill has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Choke throws a few strikes from the bottom but O�Neill takes advantage and mounts!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Choke keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
O�Neill controlling the pace for now.
Choke sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Choke looking for submissions off his back.
Choke slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Choke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. O�Neill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. O�Neill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Choke keeps trying to improve his position.

Choke looking for a guillotine here but O�Neill defends easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
O�Neill's corner is telling him to maintain position.
O�Neill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Choke on the ground.

Choke is looking for a triangle but O�Neill pushes his legs off easily.

Choke looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
O�Neill is stalling in the full guard.
O�Neill has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

O�Neill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Choke has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, O�Neill has managed to get both his arms back between Choke's legs - danger averted.
O�Neill is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Choke has his feet on O�Neill's thighs here. He's pushed O�Neill off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! O�Neill screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
