Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dalinar Kholin (ranked 2692 p4p, 5719 weight class) and Pooky Steve (ranked 353 p4p, 573 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kholin misses with an uppercut
and Steve cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Steve throws a nice looking combination but Kholin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Steve throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kholin clobbers Steve with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Kholin throws a leg kick which misses Steve's front leg but catches the back leg as Steve tries to avoid it.
Kholin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steve manages to avoid it.

Kholin scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Steve lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Steve lands a big right hand that sends Kholin crashing to the mat! Steve stays standing though and waves Kholin back to his feet!
