The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cool looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Da Silva is fending him off so far but Cool persists. Nope, Da Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
We've been hearing reports that Cool has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Da Silva keeps the fight on the outside.
Da Silva throws a body kick that misses.
Cool takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cool fails with the takedown
and Da Silva counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Cool closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Da Silva quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Da Silva wants to control but Cool is keeping busy.
Cool prevents Da Silva from improving his position.
Cool maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Da Silva could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Cool has cracked it and Da Silva is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Cool!
