Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Malcolm Tate!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As Tate looks to move away, Smith throws a big counter combo but Tate just gets out of the way.
Tate misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Smith gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Smith is wriggling around but Tate manages to pass to half guard.

Smith is looking to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tate looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Tate working over Smith with some ground and pound. Smith looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Tate is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Smith defends it well.
Smith looks like he's trying to stand up.

Smith has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Tate. Oh but Smith has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Tate goes limp - he's gone! Smith jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
