Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bykosiu Lewandowski (ranked 4338 p4p, 5966 weight class) and John Holmgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmgren has chosen 800* as his entrance music. John Holmgren is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lewandowski changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Holmgren looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Holmgren tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lewandowski wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lewandowski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bykosiu Lewandowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Holmgren.

Holmgren has his foot on Lewandowski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lewandowski works his way back into a safe position though.

Holmgren throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Lewandowski has Holmgren pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lewandowski pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Holmgren tumbling to the mat - Lewandowski dives into Holmgren's guard.

Lewandowski has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Holmgren regains guard immediately.

Lewandowski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Holmgren has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lewandowski has managed to get both his arms back between Holmgren's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bykosiu Lewandowski.
I think Holmgren has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
