The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Wangler felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Vicini looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Wangler is defending well. Vicini quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Wangler has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Vicini celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
