Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darry Curtis (ranked 130 p4p, 290 weight class) and Red Crow (ranked 23 p4p, 49 weight class). Curtis comes to the cage accompanied by Stevie Wonder - Stay Gold. Darry Curtis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darry Curtis!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Red Crow!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curtis misses the shot to the body.
Curtis connects with a nice looking jab.
Some bone on bone action there as Curtis checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Curtis. Crow does a little dance to reset his feet.
Curtis has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rivers Edge Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Curtis scores with the left hand. Crow knows he should have avoided that one.

Crow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Crow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Curtis.

Curtis lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Curtis turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Curtis plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Crow to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Crow just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
