The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demayo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shaw sprawls well. Shaw wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Demayo gets slowly back to his feet.
Shaw ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Demayo tries for a takedown but Shaw sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Demayo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shaw circles away.
Shaw is looking for the big counter here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alfonso Demayo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shaw scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Demayo doesn't seem bothered though.
Shaw works over Demayo's head and body with a nice combination.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Shaw! Demayo is out on his feet! Shaw rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Demayo is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Demayo is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
