Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between William Tate (ranked 4418 p4p, 5146 weight class) and James Braddock (ranked 513 p4p, 544 weight class). James Braddock is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braddock swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Tate counters with a nice body kick.

Braddock darts in and clinches Tate up against the ropes.
Tate wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Braddock has him pressed against the ropes.

Braddock manages to break the clinch.
Tate tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Braddock has closed the distance and engaged Tate in a clinch.
Tate misses with a hook to the ribs.

Braddock escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tate throws a sloppy head kick and Braddock moves out of range easily.
Crunch! Tate slams his shin into Braddock's torso.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Braddock rushes Tate and presses him up against the ropes.
Braddock misses with a hook from the clinch.

Braddock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A left and a right from Tate both land. Nice combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Braddock is looking to clinch but Tate is avoiding it.

Braddock drives through and clinches with Tate against the ropes.
Braddock tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Braddock pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Braddock avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tate fails with an attempt to clinch.
Braddock takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like James Braddock has been cut.
Tate wants to clinch.

Tate connects with a leg kick.
Braddock looks to land a body kick but Tate moved away.
Braddock throws a head kick that misses.

Braddock darts in and clinches Tate up against the ropes.
Braddock lands a hook that snaps the head of Tate backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Braddock gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Braddock takes the fight into the clinch.
Tate misses with a body punch.

Braddock breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Braddock throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Tate counters with a left and a right that stings Braddock.
Tate lands a head kick. Braddock smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Braddock closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Tate is trying to break free.
Braddock keeps control of Tate as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Braddock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tate moves in looking to clinch but Braddock pushes him off.

Tate punishes Braddock's body with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Braddock scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Tate connects with a nice cross there... Braddock is looking wobbly and Tate recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Braddock to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Tate jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!
