Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Padraig Ahearn (ranked 139 p4p, 243 weight class) and Big Smoke (ranked 5 p4p, 7 weight class). Smoke has chosen Big Smoke's Order as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Padraig Ahearn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Big Smoke!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smoke lands a nice shot that snaps Ahearn's head back.
Smoke takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Smoke cracks Ahearn with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ahearn keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Smoke lands a jab-cross combination.
Smoke misses the jab.
Smoke misses with a lunging right hand
and Ahearn counters with a nice uppercut.
Ahearn dips to his left and cracks Smoke with an uppercut!
Ahearn just misses with a punch to the body.
Smoke has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ahearn lands with a shot to the body.
Ahearn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smoke moves away.
Smoke moves away from the strike by Ahearn.
Ahearn scores with a one two! Smoke had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Ahearn misses with a combination
and Ahearn takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smoke misses with a lunging right hand
and Ahearn counters with a stiff right hand.
Smoke fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Ahearn to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Ahearn looks to clinch but Smoke throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Ahearn taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Big Smoke!
