Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Holden Gracie (ranked 993 p4p, 1193 weight class) and Donnie Larkin (ranked 155 p4p, 183 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Holden Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donnie Larkin!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larkin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Gracie uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Larkin.
Larkin lands a leg kick that knocks Gracie off balance momentarily.

Gracie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Larkin, pushing him back against the cage.

Larkin gets control of Gracie's arms and successfully pulls guard. Larkin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Larkin keeps moving.
Larkin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.

Larkin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie wants to sweep but no luck.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Larkin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Larkin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie working a defensive guard but Larkin manages to pass into side control anyway.
Gracie is not content to let Larkin control the position.

Larkin is working to tighten his grip on Gracie's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gracie has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Larkin is really squeezing tight and eventually Gracie passes out! Larkin breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
