The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Cleefe lands with a cross.

It looks like Jeppe Bjoergen has been cut.
Van Cleefe bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Van Cleefe with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Bjoergen doesn't manage to clinch there - Van Cleefe circles away.
Despite the aggression on Van Cleefe's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Van Cleefe has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Bjoergen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Van Cleefe's head.

It looks like Lee Van Cleefe has been cut.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bjoergen!
Van Cleefe scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Bjoergen shoots for a double leg takedown but Van Cleefe sprawls well. He's pushed Bjoergen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bjoergen blocks a jab.
Bjoergen is looking to clinch.
Van Cleefe tries to bum rush Bjoergen with a series of wild strikes but Bjoergen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Van Cleefe throws a series of strikes that have Bjoergen backpedaling.
Van Cleefe ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Van Cleefe drops Bjoergen with a left and a right! Oh, Bjoergen is hurt - Van Cleefe dives into side control looking to finish!

Jeppe Bjoergen's cut is getting worse.

Van Cleefe is trying to get an arm triangle but Bjoergen is defending well.
Oh Bjoergen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Van Cleefe tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Van Cleefe has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bjoergen seems to have got his legs back now.

Van Cleefe is working to tighten his grip on Bjoergen's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bjoergen has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Van Cleefe is really squeezing tight and eventually Bjoergen passes out! Van Cleefe breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
