PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dwalin Broadaxe (ranked 1597 p4p, 2028 weight class) and Lewis Pendragon (ranked 169 p4p, 215 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dwalin Broadaxe has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dwalin Broadaxe seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broadaxe walks into a jab.

Broadaxe has managed to clinch.
Pendragon scores with a shot to the side of Broadaxe's head.
Broadaxe has Pendragon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Pendragon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Broadaxe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Broadaxe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Broadaxe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pendragon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Broadaxe is tightening it up a little... Pendragon has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pendragon reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pendragon taps out! Nice BJJ there by Broadaxe!
