The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elskamp cracks Silva with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Elskamp moves into the clinch.

Elskamp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Elskamp connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Elskamp lands a big right hand that sends Silva crashing to the mat! Elskamp stays standing though and waves Silva back to his feet!

After the fight, Dirk Elskamp was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
