Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce Banger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lebonon Currant!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Currant misses.
Currant throws an overhand right that lands on Banger's shoulder, as Banger tries to avoid the shot.
Currant takes one on the button.
No joy there for Currant, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Banger walks into a stiff left hand from Currant.
Lebonon Currant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Currant moves out of range as Banger strikes.
It seemed like Currant was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Banger slips a jab from Currant.
Banger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Banger tries to land a leg kick but Currant saw it coming and moves away.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Banger.
Currant tries to clinch but Banger is having none of it.
Banger connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Currant moves out of range of the body kick from Banger.
Banger cracks Currant with an open hand slap.
Banger scores with a decent looking hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Currant misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Banger.
Banger defending well as Currant loads up on a big left hand.
A little feinted left hand from Banger on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Banger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Currant fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Banger manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Currant throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Banger.
Banger stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Currant rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Banger moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Banger scores with a decent looking hook.
Banger fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Currant checks it well.
Banger swats away the attempt to clinch by Currant.
Banger avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Banger lands a big right hand that sends Currant crashing to the mat! Banger stays standing though and waves Currant back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Banger throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Currant stumbling backwards into the cage! Currant bounces back off the cage towards Banger, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Banger lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Banger celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bruce Banger!
A relieved looking Bruce Banger thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
