Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boxing Powerhous (ranked 23930 p4p, 10940 weight class) and Sota Sankari (ranked 195 p4p, 117 weight class). Sota Sankari is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boxing Powerhous!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sota Sankari!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powerhous scores with a body shot.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Powerhous is taking a breather. Sankari says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Sankari gets caught napping as Powerhous dives in and scores a takedown. Sankari manages to retain guard.

Powerhous seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sankari for as long as he can get away with.
