This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 23 wins and 19 losses; David Allan Coe! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 18 wins and 10 losses; Fray Tormenta!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Tormenta fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tormenta fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Coe avoids it really well and circles away.
Tormenta closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Tormenta wants a takedown.
David Allan Coe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fray Tormenta.

Tormenta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Coe controls Tormenta momentarily but Tormenta frees himself.
Coe has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Tormenta has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Doc Dannis Death Squad. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Tormenta slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
