Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Henry Lancaster!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster throws a lazy uppercut

and Lundgren counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Lundgren wants to pass the guard but Lancaster is keeping the position.
Lancaster looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lundgren is one step ahead there.
Lundgren trying to control but Lancaster is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lancaster is pulling down on Lundgren's head. It's preventing any offense from Lundgren, at least for the moment.
Lancaster manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lundgren manages to get himself to full guard.

Lancaster would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Lundgren had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lancaster defends it easily.
Lundgren is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Lancaster scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

It looks like Mattias Lundgren has been cut.

Lundgren has a takedown stuffed.
Lundgren shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lancaster as he avoids it easily.
Lancaster connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lundgren.

Henry Lancaster dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Lancaster lands a jab to Lundgren's midsection.
Lundgren throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lancaster's waist but Lancaster gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lundgren off to one side.
Lancaster throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lundgren appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Lundgren looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lancaster stuffs the takedown.
Lundgren shoots in looking for a takedown but Lancaster manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lundgren's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
It seemed like Lancaster was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Lancaster has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Lundgren has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Lancaster throws a punch but it's blocked by Lundgren.

Lancaster lands with a short shot to the head.

Lancaster pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lundgren shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lancaster as he jumps to the side.
Lancaster appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Lancaster throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lancaster misses with an uppercut.
Lundgren goes for a double leg but Lancaster avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lancaster continues to drive forward.
Lancaster prevents the takedown attempt.
Lundgren jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lancaster walks away with a smile on his face. Lundgren gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lancaster has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

A jab from Lancaster misses.
Lancaster misses with a body shot.
Lundgren tries to clinch up.
Lundgren moves out of range of the strikes.
Lundgren walks into a left hand.
Lancaster just misses with a punch to the body.
Lundgren takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lundgren is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lancaster sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lundgren moves forwards but Lancaster connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Lundgren takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Mattias Lundgren's cut is getting worse.
Henry Lancaster seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lundgren is aggressively charging in as Lancaster backs up avoiding any damage. Lancaster tosses out a jab and Lundgren runs right into it face first! Lundgren is out cold! Lancaster dropped down on all fours and is barking in Lundgren's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
