Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Neutron (ranked 4570 p4p, 4457 weight class) and Julio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Julio Gracie will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Neutron sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Neutron but Neutron pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Neutron tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Neutron to the ground. Neutron escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gracie throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Neutron tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gracie is in Neutron's guard.

Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Neutron manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Neutron in his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Neutron drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Neutron off! Neutron jumps back into Gracie's guard.

Neutron is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gracie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Neutron thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
