PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin Gaethje (ranked 3653 p4p, 4730 weight class) and Bata Zivojinovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaethje throws a jab when Zivojinovic was well out of range.
Gaethje throws a jab but it's blocked by Zivojinovic.
Zivojinovic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Zivojinovic steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gaethje.
Gaethje circles away from the clinch attempt
and Gaethje counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Zivojinovic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gaethje circles away quickly and effectively.
Gaethje cracks Zivojinovic with an open hand slap.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gaethje lands a left hand.
Gaethje lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Zivojinovic is looking to take this one to the mat.

Gaethje pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gaethje digs a good hook to Zivojinovic's body.
Zivojinovic throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gaethje counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Gaethje throws an overhand right that drops Zivojinovic like a sack of potatoes! Gaethje dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
