Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dez Havok (ranked 2598 p4p, 2821 weight class) and Kevin Submission (ranked 329 p4p, 352 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dez Havok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Submission! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Havok throws a body punch but Submission moves out of range. Havok falls off balance throwing a combination
and Submission counters by clinching up.

Havok is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Havok wants to control from the top but Submission keeps moving.

Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Submission moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Submission isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Havok stacks Submission on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. Submission with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Havok to score with a decent uppercut.

 The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Submission tries to free his leg and advance position but Havok is retaining full guard.
Submission drops back, looking for a kneebar! Havok looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Havok looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Havok!

 It looks like Kevin Submission has been cut. Submission is looking to regain half guard here but Havok keeps moving and retains side control. Submission is still in real trouble! Can Havok finish him? Submission seems to have recovered his senses. Submission is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
