Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olan Johnson (ranked 675 p4p, 1946 weight class) and Rick Martel (ranked 92 p4p, 251 weight class). Martel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Beautiful People by - Marilyn Manson kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Olan Johnson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rick Martel!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martel misses with a left hand
and Johnson counters with a nice uppercut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Johnson.
Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Martel tumbling to the mat! Johnson takes a step backwards and waves Martel back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Rick Martel has been cut.
Martel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Johnson.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Martel misses with a straight right.
Martel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Martel moves out of range of the body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson throws the kick towards the body but Martel avoids it.
Johnson thuds his right hand into Martel's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Johnson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Johnson scores with a kick to the midsection.
Martel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Martel just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromJohnson.

and Johnson counters with a nice right hand that sends Martel toppling to the canvas! Martel scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Johnson finish him?!
Martel is rocked!
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Martel is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
Johnson slips a jab from Martel.
Martel seems to have recovered his senses.
Johnson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Johnson scores with a kick to the body.
Johnson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Martel.
Johnson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Johnson connects with a body shot that sends Martel's belly button to the back.
Martel looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Martel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Martel throws a hook but Johnson blocks it.
A head kick by Johnson - that's a beauty! Martel is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Johnson can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Olan Johnson!
