PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Suzuki (ranked 3311 p4p, 2348 weight class) and Morgan Malig (ranked 220 p4p, 151 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Malig tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Suzuki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Malig as he avoids it easily.
Malig ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Suzuki moves away.
Malig misses with a shot to the body

and Suzuki counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Suzuki.

Malig working for a triangle but Suzuki defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Suzuki not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Suzuki lying in Malig's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Malig decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Suzuki taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
