Suzuki scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Still in half guard, Suzuki seems content to control.
McCallen felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
McCallen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Suzuki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Suzuki has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can McCallen defend it? Suzuki steps over the head and cranks it - McCallen is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Suzuki!
