The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wick lands a really nice looking cross but Novak seems unphased.
Wick getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Wick connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Novak displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wick throws out the jab.
Wick rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Novak decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wick's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Novak drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Novak as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Wick screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Novak! Nice submission victory there!
