Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocken Takedown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deruck Nganoo!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takedown uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nganoo.
Nganoo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Takedown looking to score a takedown here. Nganoo is defending well but Takedown drives through and ends up in Nganoo's guard.
Nganoo is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Takedown defends well.
Takedown trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Takedown lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Nganoo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Takedown defends it easily.
Nganoo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nganoo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Takedown postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Nganoo has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Roosters Coop. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nganoo can't keep his opponent in guard - Takedown advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Takedown takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Nganoo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nganoo won't allow Takedown to pass to mount.
Takedown is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Takedown performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Nganoo tries to roll over but Takedown keeps him under control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Takedown wants to control the pace but Nganoo is squirming around nicely.
Takedown lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Nganoo tries to reverse the position but Takedown maintains control.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Nganoo is bucking up trying to escape but Takedown cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

BOOM! Takedown connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Takedown landing strikes from the mount and Nganoo is in trouble!
Nganoo is looking to improve his position but Takedown isn't that keen on the idea.
Takedown breaks from Nganoo's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Nganoo is rocked!
Nganoo can't escape the position.
Nganoo is still in real trouble! Can Takedown finish him?
Takedown has hold of Nganoo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Nganoo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Takedown really is a fat lump.
Nganoo is looking to get to half guard.
Takedown connects with a bit shot that sees Nganoo covering up! More strikes from Takedown and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Takedown is our winner by TKO!
