Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arnaud Coleman (ranked 1943 p4p, 2555 weight class) and Hristo Borisov (ranked 262 p4p, 335 weight class). Hristo Borisov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arnaud Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hristo Borisov!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borisov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Coleman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Borisov.
Coleman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And Borisov tries to counter it with a takedown but Coleman pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Coleman keeps the fight on the outside.

Coleman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Borisov to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Coleman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Borisov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Borisov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
My spies in London MMA Club inform me that Borisov has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Coleman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Borisov is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Borisov wants to stand up but Coleman has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Borisov is keen to just control but Coleman is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Borisov stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Coleman to get to his feet.

Coleman bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Borisov's head.

Borisov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Coleman throws a hook to the side of Borisov's head but Borisov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Borisov shoots in and bounces Coleman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Borisov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Coleman.

and Borisov counters with a nice low kick that buckles Coleman's knee momentarily.

It seemed like Borisov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Borisov.

Borisov darts in and clinches Coleman up against the cage.

Borisov has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Coleman regains guard immediately.

Borisov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Borisov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Borisov scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Coleman to see if he's OK.

Borisov goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Coleman rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Borisov's guard! Nice work there by Coleman!

Coleman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Borisov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Borisov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Borisov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Arnaud Coleman will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
