Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Timo Leyton (ranked 745 p4p, 1841 weight class) and Dirk Jammer (ranked 109 p4p, 253 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dirk Jammer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Leyton or perhaps it was just good defense by Jammer, which made it look bad.
Jammer is looking for the big counter here.
Leyton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jammer swivels and escapes.
Timo Leyton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jammer throws a nice looking combination but Leyton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Jammer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Leyton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jammer has managed to get both his arms back between Leyton's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jammer lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Leyton is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jammer is aware though and is defending well.
Leyton is trying to keep Jammer in close.

Leyton isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jammer stacks Leyton on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jammer!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Jammer has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Leyton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Leyton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jammer tries to avoid it but Leyton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jammer to the ground. Jammer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Leyton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jammer as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Timo Leyton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Leyton darts in looking for a takedown but Jammer gets double underhooks and turns Leyton into the cage.

Jammer ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jammer no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Dirk Jammer has got the better of the ground game so far.
Leyton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jammer's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Leyton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Leyton cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That has opened up Dirk Jammer's cut even more.
