Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abinader with a hook.
Frank avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Frank seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

We've been told by Frank's head coaches at Thib's Sweat Shoppe that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Frank counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Abinader on his ass! Abinader wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Frank is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

Frank's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Frank moves out of range as Abinader strikes.
Frank went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Frank looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Abinader bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Frank's head.

Frank ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
It looked like Frank was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Abinader.
Frank takes a swing at Abinader's ribcage but misses.

and Frank counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Frank ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Frank connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Frank is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Abinader drops his guard momentarily, allowing Frank to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Abinader! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Frank takes it!
