Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Ross (ranked 3482 p4p, 3345 weight class) and Kazuya Mishima (ranked 454 p4p, 439 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Mishima's choice of entrance music: Techno Syndrome Mortal Kombat. Kazuya Mishima has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Peter Ross's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Ross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kazuya Mishima!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Ross 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mishima takes the fight into the clinch.
Ross looking for a takedown.
Mishima has Ross pushed against the cage.
Ross has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mishima is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Ross changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mishima fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Ross. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice straight punches there by Mishima. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mishima.
Mishima lands with a hook. Ross tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ross is rocked!
Mishima lands with a kick to the ribs.
Oh Ross is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mishima cracks Ross with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ross tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Mishima pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ross is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kazuya Mishima!
Kazuya Mishima spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
