The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seigel is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
De Smet throws a sloppy body shot
and Seigel counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
De Smet cracks Seigel with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Seigel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Seigel there as he acknowledges the shot.

De Smet shoots for a double leg takedown but Seigel sprawls well. He's pushed De Smet's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

He's got control of the head and as De Smet tries to break Seigel's hands from around his neck, Seigel unloads with that fight ending knee, right up the middle! Oh man, that was nasty!
