Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Olej Saganov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lerrick Dewis!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saganov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dewis on the side of the head.

It looks like Lerrick Dewis has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Saganov. Dewis does a little dance to reset his feet.

Saganov throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Dewis tumbling to the canvas!

Dewis is rocked!

Saganov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dewis is still in real trouble! Can Saganov finish him?
Dewis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Saganov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dewis has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Saganov has managed to get both his arms back between Dewis's legs - danger averted.
Dewis seems to have recovered his senses.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dewis is on top in guard.

Saganov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dewis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dewis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Saganov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dewis is aware though and is defending well.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Dewis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Saganov is looking to escape.
Dewis pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Saganov is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Dewis working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Saganov looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Dewis! Submission of the night perhaps?
