And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Simo Halli!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Halli decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Halli is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Campbell is just riding it out for now. Halli eventually gives up the hold.

Halli is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Campbell defends it well.
We've been hearing good reports from Campbell's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Halli seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Campbell does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
