The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kurri.
Kurri has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Kurri looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Kurri is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Penn is surviving well by controlling Kurri's body position as best he can.

Penn has left one of his arms exposed and Kurri doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Penn screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
