The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Finlayson misses.
Crawley appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Crawley throws a lazy uppercut
and Finlayson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Finlayson throws a lazy right hand but Crawley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Crawley tries to score with a low kick but Finlayson moves his leg out of the way.
It looked like Finlayson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Crawley.
Finlayson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crawley throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Billy Crawley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crawley throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Finlayson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Crawley is still on wobbly legs! Can Finlayson finish him?
Finlayson ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Crawley seems to have recovered his senses.

Finlayson lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Crawley up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Finlayson from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Crawley's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

After winning the bout, Torhte Finlayson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
