Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shug Skinner (ranked 1714 p4p, 159 weight class) and Dick Winters (ranked 244 p4p, 24 weight class). Winters has chosen All Along the Watchtower as his entrance music. The key to victory for Shug Skinner has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shug Skinner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dick Winters!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winters misses with a takedown attempt - Skinner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Winters takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Winters fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Skinner to the ground. Winters is now in Skinner's guard.
Winters sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Skinner's guard.
Winters takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Skinner desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Skinner definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Winters wants to control but Skinner is keeping him busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Skinner is trying to control but Winters passes into side control!
Skinner is looking to get back to his feet here but Winters is keeping cool and he's managed to take Skinner's back.
