The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strasburg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jiurgite pinned against the cage. Jiurgite gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jiurgite drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Strasburg defends it well.
Jiurgite has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Strasburg displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jiurgite.
Jiurgite dives in and grabs Strasburg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Strasburg pushes down on Jiurgite's head and hops out.
Jiurgite shoots in for a double leg but Strasburg sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Strasburg has left one of his arms exposed and Jiurgite doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Strasburg screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
