The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wright shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Moore but Moore pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Moore is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Wright closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wright lands in his opponent's guard.

Moore is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Wright presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Moore jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wright walks away with a smile on his face. Moore gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A punch lands to the side of Wright 's head but he takes it in his stride.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Wright.
