Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Maurice Tillet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aidan Oshea!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oshea changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tillet looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tillet's coaches at Island Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tillet holds on to Oshea's head and controls the position momentarily.
Tillet tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Oshea wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Tillet regains half guard.
Tillet moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Tillet is controlling Oshea's posture.
Oshea really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tillet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tillet is on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oshea is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Oshea wants to sweep here but Tillet controlling him for the moment.
Tillet keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Oshea's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tillet working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Oshea's head.
Tillet distracts Oshea with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Tillet controls from within his opponent's guard.
Tillet connects with a couple of short punches.
Tillet is working Oshea over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
It looks like Aidan Oshea has been cut.
Tillet keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Oshea's head.

Tillet postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Oshea's head off the mat! Oshea is out! He's out! Tillet jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
