The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulver looks for the body kick but Thomson saw that one coming.
That kick from Pulver tenderised Thomson's leg. Thomson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Pulver lands with a nice body kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pulver.
Pulver throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Thomson looks winded!
Pulver is looking to slow Thomson down with leg kicks.
Pulver fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thomson manages to avoid it.
Thomson is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Pulver throws a head kick but Thomson moves out of range.
Pulver sets himself, and Thomson steps forward looking for the clinch! Pulver avoids it this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pulver lands a big head kick that sends Thomson tumbling to the mat! Pulver takes a step backwards and waves Thomson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
