Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Evan Duvernay (ranked 152 p4p, 231 weight class) and Damian Tonon (ranked 21 p4p, 32 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evan Duvernay!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Damian Tonon!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tonon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Duvernay gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tonon wants to sweep but no luck.

Duvernay wants to pass to mount but Tonon is defending the position.

Tonon has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Duvernay seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Tonon can turn it around.

Well Duvernay has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
