Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 24443 p4p, 6679 weight class) and Dame Nitro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dame Nitro!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nitro keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Nitro gets caught flat footed, as Xxx shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Nitro keeping moving, preventing Xxx from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nitro has Xxx pulled in close to control his posture.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nitro looking to hit a scissor sweep but Xxx is one step ahead there.
Nitro has a closed guard, preventing Xxx from standing up.
Nitro can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Xxx controls the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nitro is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Xxx is controlling him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Nitro blocks a head kick by Xxx.
Xxx fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nitro defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Xxx.
Nitro counters with a body kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Xxx fails with the takedown.

Nitro drives through with a takedown into Xxx's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Xxx is wriggling around but Nitro manages to pass to half guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Nitro prevents Xxx from standing back up.
Xxx trying to control here.
Nitro seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Nitro stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Xxx to get to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dame Nitro dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nitro shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Xxx tries to kick Nitro off in order to stand up. Nitro Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xxx pushes Nitro away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nitro gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nitro controls the position from side control.
Xxx wants to get back to his feet.

Nitro decides to stand back up. Nitro steps back and let's Xxx get back to his feet.
Xxx misses with a takedown attempt - Nitro sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nitro raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Nitro takes a shot to the body in his stride.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Xxx fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nitro avoids it really well and circles away.
Nitro is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Xxx fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nitro looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Xxx throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nitro tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Xxx is in Nitro's guard.
Nitro is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Nitro pulls Xxx in to control the position.
Xxx stops Nitro from standing up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Nitro has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Xxx is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Xxx pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Nitro is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Xxx's half guard.

Xxx kicks off Nitro and gets to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Dame Nitro will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Xxx's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Xxx shoots in and gets a takedown into Nitro's guard.
Xxx trying to control the position from guard on top but Nitro is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nitro is looking to stand up but Xxx isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nitro controlling the position.
Nitro's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Xxx gets to his feet - Nitro follows without any prompting.
Nitro slaps away a takedown attempt from Xxx, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And Nitro responds with a good body kick, but Xxx manages to step out the way in time.
Nitro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Xxx counters with a right hand to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Xxx fails with a takedown attempt.
Nitro thinks about the counter body kick.
Xxx slaps away a takedown attempt from Nitro, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nitro shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Xxx but Xxx pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Xxx swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Xxx Xxx has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dame Nitro.

Nitro closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Xxx quickly recovers to half guard.
Xxx scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Nitro manages to mount him!
Nitro controlling from the full mount.

Xxx wants to control but Nitro is having none of it.
Nitro controlling the pace for now.
Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Dame Nitro is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

And that's the end of the fight!
